The Matthews Back Light Stand is configured so that accurate positioning of your back light may be achieved. It may be used for either background illumination or back lighting the subject. The mounting pin at the top is a 5/8 to 1/4-20. After removing the riser the additional pin stored on the leg of the base is 5/8" that may be used to lower the mounting position directly at the base.
An extendable column allows for a wide range of heights and an interchangeable 5/8" pin positions the light almost directly on the floor.
