The Gefen EXT-RMT-EXT-IR is an IR remote extender that allows the user six feet of cable to extend remote distance. The IR receiver connects to the HDTV switcher; this gives the ability to control the switcher not only from an extended distance but, from a location out of the site of the main switching unit as well.
