    Comtek M-216 reviews

    M-216 - Wireless Transmitter (Option P7) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comtek M-216 P7 Tx solid piece of kit The Comtek M-216 Option 7 Transmitter is a solid piece of kit. Besides being used as an IFB transmitter, I use it with a PR-216 Option 7 Receiver attached to a small monitor speaker to send audio signal video village, or to send a mono scratch-track signal to the camera(s). I also attach the M-216 P7 to a TC slate and send TC signal to camera(s) and my recorder. An inexpensive IFB solution for the professional indeed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The reliable industry standard This comtek is the reliable industry standard for sharing sound on set with producers and directors. It works well, and a great addition to any sound mixer's kit. Be sure to get with headphones, xlr to mini xlr if needed, and a PR-216 (not option 7, only the transmitter needs to be option 7) for the purpose of sharing sound on film shoots from mixer to others to monitor (Director, DP, Producer, Scripty, Boom Op)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Location Monitoring of Audio I went with the comtek system over a lectrosonics system due to price. The comtek system works great for what it is. Lets producers, directors, and anybody else you need to monitor audio on location listen in to your mix. Cant complain.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better IFB's out there, but these are the standard... I think Comteks run a little hot, naturally, and are very sensitive to distortion, but I never have any complaints from scriptie or director...
