The Modex Plate from RPG Diffusor Systems is an acoustic bass management solution, offering significant absorption between 50 and 500Hz, in a surface depth of only four inches. This provides a more uniform response in home theater and dedicated listening rooms.
The Modex plate was developed by the Institute for Building Pyhsics at the Fraunhofer Institute, and consists of a damped metal plate system. The patented damped metal plate construction offers absorption via pistonic vibration, damped bending modes, and porous absorption.
The Modex Plate has a powder coated metal finish and can be surface mounted on walls or ceiling.
