The Legacy Collection ANALOG EDITION 2007 from Korg continues the tradition of recreating landmark vintage synthesizers as virtual instruments. This collection reprises the MS-20 and Polysix from the original Legacy Collection, and adds the Mono/Poly.
The Legacy Cell Synthesizer is basically a shell that allows the user to use one of five different combinations of CMT-based synthesizers. Effects can be added and the whole thing controlled as if it were a single instrument. Also included is the MDE-X Multi-Effect suite of effects plug-ins that include EQ, chorus and delay. And the MS-20FX is a plug-in that utilizes the MS-20 as an effects processor.
Mono/Poly
Four-VCO monophonic/polyphonic synthesizer from 1981
Each VCO provides adjustable pitch, waveform, octave and level, which can be stacked together, or cycled through for constantly shifting timbres
Its most signature characteristics are the Synchro and Cross Modulation functions that can run dual, or four-way cascaded modulation routings for creating revolutionary and aggressive tonal effects

The software interface provides reorganized knobs and switches that restructures the Polysix in a "rack-mountable" form for increased intuitive operation and sound-creating versatility
Added enhancements include 32-voice polyphony (maximum), up to 16-voice unison (with detune/spread function), flexible external modulation settings, MIDI clock synchronization and a spread function that adjusts the spaciousness of the effects
MS-20
Semi-modular, monophonic synthesizer with a thick and solid sound, aggressive analog filters and inexhaustible potential for creative patching
Features two oscillators (which can be ring-modulated), high-pass/low-pass self-oscillating filters with unique distortion and extensive modulation capabilities
Up to 32 voices of polyphony, up to 16-voice unison with detune/spread function, with flexible external MIDI modulation settings and MIDI clock LFO synchronization
Replicates the patch cable programmability of the original, including the signal processor that can accommodate external audio input
