Tripod Head NOT Included
Versatile
The leg angle locks to let you set the tripod to 3 different height positions. Each lock is independent, so that the tripod can be set up quickly and easily on steps or uneven terrain.
Grooved Tubular Legs
The groove prevents the leg from turning during extension or retraction, and it allows simple and secure locking.
Worm Gear Elevation
Center column elevation works only by the turning of its crank, so that there are no accidental falls.
Maximum upper leg diameter of 36mm

SLIK SLPL Reviews

Slik Professional Tripod

Was back ordered for a month or more, but really was worth the wait. Very heavy-duty. Will support my spotting scope with ease while target shooting. Not a back packing tripod, to heavy for that sort of stuff, but built very stout for stationary use. Highly recommend.

They often ask, 'how can we take clear and vivid photos?' and they blame on their innocent cameras or lenses for the lack of vividness. Even with the perfect focus, if you still get unclear photos, then most likely, your camera was shaking when you were pressing the shutter. If your main purpose is to get the clear photo, then the most effective way is to use the Tripod. I've been using Slick Tripod for long time, and I recently bought the Professional Tripod Legs because I needed a heavier one. My new tripod is big and heavy enough that i can put 4x5 view camera on it. It has an elevator function, so it just makes everything easier. Also, it's made in Japan, so it's really strong and reliable. I am using the Slick Ball Head for the head part and forthe SLR cameras, it's just as good as it gets. Not long ago, a dog was running around and hit the tripod that i had set up for a photo shoot, and almost broke my camera. Ever since then, I never use light weight tripod. Like Jane Austen said, it is a truth universally acknowledged that for the tripod, heavier the better!.
