I have an old Slik Tripod, Universal, Model U-112. Will this quick release fit? B&H#SLQRP. Also, I am retired and trying to do a lot of photography. I have a Canon 5D Mark III and a G12. Need a fairly light tripod for travel and studio to do photo & video both. Need one that can cary the weight of the 5D and L lens for landscapes.Can you recommend some models in the $150 to $250 range.

The Slik Quick Release Post for Universal Tripods is not compatible with the Slik Goodman tripod. We do not sell a QR plate for the Goodman model.

Unfortunately, Slik does not make a quick release adapter that utilizes the quick release post.
