    Smith-Victor 90UL reviews

    90UL 10" Adapta-Light with UM6 (120V) is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for people that don't need detailed instructions The product was delivered on time and was well packaged. There's a small sheet included that shows all the parts and how to assemble them. I purchased three of these and had them assembled in about four minutes. Quick and easy. I will say that if you look at Part 4 on the Parts Included sheet you'll quickly conclude that it must clamp around the shade and not the handle. It's simply too big to do anything else. Very easy assembly. So far it seems to be securely attached. I like the long cord. As with any lighting system the user should always check and tighten all screws and bolts before and after use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More light never hurts For only $, you won't go wrong. If you're looking for extra light and don't want to spend a ton of money, this is a great value. Of course, since its not cooled, it will get extremely hot so just be careful when moving it around and readjusting it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job needed Purchased to use as key light on portrait photography and as fill on some video in my small basement studio. It gives some nice warmth to the subjects and spreads fairly well for an open flood. I expected a slightly better build, but it does the job which I needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Serves my purpose I bought this light to illuminate my target for indoor airgun shooting. It provides much more light than I was getting from a 100 watt worklight. The light is well constructed and of overall high quality.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK Cheap, but works; for the price its pretty good, but you really much check all the clamp screws before using it...I've had this fall after a session

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY, absolutely horrible! The bad experience with this light started with putting it together; there were no clear instructions, just a piece of paper, 4x5 inches small, with the parts pictured. There were quite a few parts, more than 6-7! But what goes where and how, I was left to my own devices to guess, and the clamp itself was not even among the pictured parts. At first I thought there was a missing part or something, because it just didn't make sense and was so difficult to put together. Finally I figured it out though, felt like a genius. But every time I use it, I have to strain to open and close the clamp, and it hurts my hands. It gets worse; the light is difficult to attach to stuff, doesn't stay in place and falls off. It also falls apart - one of the metallic parts that hold the clamp to the light that needs to be fastened by turning tight, disconnects every time I try to point the light in the direction I want. Doesn't matter how tight I try to fasten it. I didn't have the chance to use the light for a few weeks and it's been more than 30 days now, so I can't return it. So upset, it isn't even worth a darn dollar. Frustrating experience through and through.
