My previous set of lamps from Smith Victor lasted 40 years. This could charitably be described as junk.

Good workhorse light.

My old standby when I need to use hot lights.

Nive even light - without being harsh

Photo floods such as these cast a nice even light without harsh shadows or highlights. Easy to setup with low cost bulb replacements, these lights are a great value. The case sometimes is a pain to snap back together and you have to be careful when wheeling it around. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Nice quality

I use the light for shoulder rim light. The quality and functionality is great -- sturdy, easy to adjust angles, etc. A little pricey but it doesn't pay to skimp on lighting, esp. if you haul it around.

Good kit.
