This Upgrade from Photoshop CS2 to Photoshop CS3 Extended for Windows from Adobe allows owners of Photoshop 7.0, CS, or CS2 to upgrade to Photoshop CS3 Extended at a price lower than buying the full version of the software.

Photoshop CS3 Extended is the industry-standard image editing suite with 3D support for film, video, multimedia, engineering and science professionals. The software allows you to import popular 3D image model formats, work with medical DICOM images and create animations.

Extended can also work with 2D images, as it encompasses all of the features of the standard edition of Photoshop. This allows you to edit stills using a powerful layer-based approach. It also features smart filters to add artistic effects, powerful color and curve controls, digital camera raw image support and text tools.

3D Image Tools
Photoshop Extended can import 3D model files created in popular modeling software. This includes 3DS, OBJ, U3D, KMZ and COLLADA formats. You'll be able to rotate, slice and add textures and light to these 3D models. They can even be used in animations.
Scientific and Medical Tools
The software features tools that can be used in scientific and medical applications. Photoshop can import DICOM medical files and create animations of X-ray sequences to show movement. Scientific engineers and researchers will appreciate the powerful data analysis and measurement tools. Architects can even use Photoshop Extended to create stunning visualizations of their designs.
Animation Tools

Photoshop allows you to align a series of images to compensate for slight camera movement. It features tools that allow you to remove unwanted bystanders from a series of pictures. This can also be used to better create HDR images that are created from a series of exposures of different lengths.
