With exceptional surround-sound reproduction and high-definition DVD playback, the Panasonic SC-PTX7 Jukebox Theater System will take your home theater experience to new heights with 300W of power. In the convenience of your own home, you can finally watch your favorite movies come alive with 5.1-Channel Dolby Digital/DTS surround-sound. The SC-PTX7 offers you the same surround sound entertainment value you would expect from a night out at the movies, without having to buy a ticket.

The SC-PTX7 system is a full-function audio/video control center with an internal 80GB Hard Disc Recorder. It combines a powerful 5.1-channel AM/FM receiver with an integrated Progressive-Scan, Multi-Format DVD player, capable of 720p/1080i and 1080p up-scaling for HDTV playback. The SC-PTX7 offers iPod connectivity, integrated front (L/R, Center) speakers, expandable to multi-room wireless audio (requires optional kit), EZ Sync HDAVI Control, XD Satellite Radio Ready.

Moreover, the SC-PTX7's internal HD offers the ability to download your favorite music from CDs, MP3s, WMA files from your PC, and live radio broadcasts. Internal 80GB Hard Disk
The SC-PTX7's internal hard drive offers up to 104 hours of high-resolution (LPCM-Mode) audio recording time, and up to an amazing 2,460 hours of low resolution (AACLP-Mode) audio recording time.
High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) Output
If you're looking to pump high-definition DVD playback into your home theater, the SC-PTX7 will do the job. It has an integrated digital processor capable of upconverting video signals to 720p/1080i and 1080p through the HDMI output.
Progressive Scan Playback
The SC-PTX7 is a progressive scan DVD player, capable of scanning an entire video frame at once, scan-lines commonly associated with interlaced video are drastically reduced. The result is a spectacularly clear image with no motion artifacts (stair-stepping), and details so sharp they seem as if they're etched onto the screen.
Multi-Format Playback Capability
The SC-PTX7 offers a full-range of playback capabilities for enjoying movies, music and images. It can playback DVD-Audio/Video, DVD-R/W, DVD-R DL, DVD+R/W, DVD+R DL, DVD-RAM, CD, CD-R/RW, VCD, MP3, WMA, JPEG.
Exceptional Performance
The SC-PTX7 has playback specifications that meet the standards of professionals such as a 480i/480p component video output for high-resolution low-distortion video playback.
EZ Sync HDAVI Control
This is a convenient feature that offers linked operation (through the HDMI connection) of this unit and Panasonic TV (VIERA) with EZ Sync HDAVI Control. When connected, you can turn on your home theater system and television, and start playing a disc in the play position with a single press of a button.
Digital Surround Sound
Panasonic's SC-PTX7 reproduces Dolby Pro Logic II, Dolby Digital and DTS audio at a frequency response of 120Hz 20KHz. The dynamic range of the SC-PTX7 is so well balanced and matched that the center, front and rear channels blend seamlessly.
Multi-Room Wireless Capability
You can expand the SC-PTX7 audio system to additional rooms with the optional SH-FX85 wireless multi-room speaker kit.
iPod Connectivity
The SC-PTX7 offers the ability to connect your iPod with the included SH-PD10 Universal Dock. Your iPod effectively becomes another Panasonic component flowing through the SC-PTX7.
XM Satellite Radio Ready
The SC-PTX7 is an XM-Ready receiver, capable of receiving uninterrupted XM (optional service) radio programming. XM Satellite Radio offers XM-HD Surround, which provides 5.1-channel surround sound audio of over 150 digital channels.
Magnetically Shielded
The front/center speakers are magnetically shielded to prevent picture interference when placed near your TV or display.
Full-Feature Remote Control
Included with this package is a full-feature remote control capable of executing every command from any angle up to ±30°.
