Insight's CVL Carbine Visible Laser is a small, and reliable visible laser aiming light. It is designed to mount directly to any Mil-Std Picatinny rail, and zeroing is accomplished by adjusting the windage and elevation dials. A switch located on the rear of the housing enables the operator to switch the unit on, or the tape switch can be employed for momentary-on operation.
The rugged housing is constructed of impact resistant polymer for maximum utility and durability. Each CVL is tested to withstand harsh battlefield conditions, and submersion up to 66.0'.
Whether the CVL is weapon mounted or hand-held, it can be used to direct fire as well as designate targets.
