The Denon DN-HD2500 is a hard-disc music storage and DJ controller system. The compact unit fits into a standard 19-inch rack and offers a portable alternative to laptop systems, CDs and vinyl records. The HD-2500 features a 40GB internal hard-drive for storing huge libraries of mp3 files. The unit also supports mass-storage USB devices such as iPods, portable hard-drives, mp3 players and more. Multiple mass-storage devices may be connected via a USB-hub (not included).
The DN-HD2500 also includes Music Manager PC software for transferring, storing and filing titles. The DN-HD2500 is more than just a means to access thousands of titles. Four user effects feature flange, filter, echo and echo/loop effects for flexible, real-time audio manipulation during sets. Two platters are used to cue, play, scratch and reverse audio. Two pitch controls are used for seamless beat mixing and are both adjustable at 24%, 50% and 100% ranges.
