The DEMO Sony MZ-RH1 is a portable minidisc recorder using 1 GB Hi-MD discs as a storage medium, offering full backward compatibility with standard minidiscs, and uncompressed 44.1 PCM audio or a choice of 3 high-quality ATRAC compression methods for recording and playback.
The versatile MZ-RH1 connectivity allotted the unit includes an 1/8" microphone, line and optical input, and a USB port for music and data transfer to a PC for archiving or CD-R/CD-RW burning.
