Barco PresentationPRO-II SDI Switcher

The PresentationPRO-II SDI Switcher from Barco is a switcher that combines an 8-input universal analog video router with Barco's proprietary Athena scaler and a full-featured control panel, all in a single package. This model additionally supports (1) SDI input. The switcher is well suited for use in live events, company boardrooms, houses of worship, and educational facilities, among many other possible uses.

The (8) universal analog inputs accept standard component and composite analog video formats (NTSC & PAL), computer resolutions up to UXGA, analog HD formats including 720p, 1080i, 1080p, and plasma display resolutions. It supports output resolutions ranging from 720p and 1080p through plasma display resolutions in both analog and DVI formats.

The unit's Athena scaler features 1:1 pixel sampling, motion adaptive de-interlacing for both standard and high-definition sources, 3:2 and 2:2 pull-down detection, low video delay and aspect-ratio correction. It also offers 10-bit processing and image cropping.

The unit also includes the ability to capture and store up to (3) images that can be used as logos in presentations. Its DVI input provides a dedicated unscaled high-resolution background or downstream key source. It can be controlled via the unit's front-panel interface or remotely using its LAN or RS-232 connectivity.
