The MatrixPRO 8x8 DVI Video Matrix Router from Barco is a router designed to manage DVI signals. The unit will accept DVI inputs up to 2048 x 1080. It features (8) inputs and (8) outputs. Each input is re-clocked as it passes through the router, which helps to maintain DVI signal strength. Each output channel can also display an internally generated test pattern and test patterns are available with or without any valid input signals.

the Barco MatrixPRO 8x8 DVI Video Matrix Router make cross conversion of 720p to 1080i?
The MatrixPRO product line does not scan or convert any of the input formats. These products only route signals. Therefore, you will have to match input formats to the output device.
