The Sony DXC-D55TXPAC2 is 4:3 triax kit built around the DXC-D55H 2/3" camera head. The package includes all the necessary components to get up and running, including a triax camera adapter, control unit, 5" studio viewfinder, remote control panel, and tripod adapter plate.
DXC-D55H 2/3" 4:3 Dockable Camera Head
The DXC-D55H is a dockable camera head used for both multi-core and triax systems. Building on the previous DXC-D50 series, the camera has been equipped with a 14-Bit A/D conversion chip, helping to improve overall image quality. The camera uses 3 Power HAD EX chips featuring over a million pixels per chip for better video under the harshest lighting conditions. The DXC-D55H provides an ideal solution for ENG, EFP, and small studio operations at an affordable price.
CA-TX50 Camera Adapter
The CA-TX50 is a triax camera adapter back for the DXC-D55 series digital camera heads. The Triax system supplies Analog component video from camera to control position and camera control the other way all with the same cables. Camera control protocol and component video output run over very long distances. In addition the triax system supplies return video to the camera for monitoring the program video feed plus teleprompter information, tally lights and the possibility of SDI output with and optional CCU board.
CCU-TX50 Camera Control Unit
The CCU-TX50 is an economical camera control unit for use in studio and field applications. The triax base-station controls camera picture-look parameters including color, contrast, gain, shutter and selections from the menu system. Intercom, tally lights, teleprompter, return video and audio are all supported by this base station. Component Analog video is received from the camera for high quality image capture. With an optional board, the CCU-TX50 can output SDI uncompressed video whether for digital VTRs or digital non-linear systems.
5" Studio Viewfinder
The DXF-51 5" monochrome studio viewfinder offers 650 lines of resolution. When connected to a 16:9 aspect camera, the viewfinder will automatically switch the aspect ratio from 4:3 to 16:9.
