question

Will this work with a Sony EX1?
Asked by: Anonymous
This part is for older Sony tape camcorders and we do not see it being compatible with the EX1. If you are looking for a replacement part, please contact Sony directly. http://bit.ly/1K3EEct

question

What type of screws does this support ? 1/4 20 screw would work? Thanks
Asked by: Jean-Charles
No, 1/4-20 would require you to enlarge the holes. The holes in the mount are 11/64 dia. M6 is the screw for my Sony camera.

question

I have the small rig top plate just like one of the reviewers. I bought this to attach to it but can't see a way of getting the screws to match. It's not 1/4 20 holes. Any suggestions?
Asked by: Heath O.
Hi Heath,Just detach the plate that comes with the mic holder and screw the silver rod directly into the small rig plate (I screwed mine into one of the side holes). Hope that makes sensecheers,Craig
