The Round-D-Round Doorway Dolly from Matthews represents the next generation in doorway dolly development. Based on the industry standard Matthews Doorway Dolly, the new Round-D-Round model offers all-wheel steering which allows for greater turning flexibility. It's capable of negotiating an extremely tight circle of 6' (1.8 m).

The camera operator is able to mount into six different fixed locations and steering is possible from both ends of the dolly. In addition to being able to mount the seat directly onto the post, the included offset arm can be installed to give the camera operator more choices for seating positions and camera angles. A second seat and offset arm can also be installed, giving you the possibility of having a second person seated on the dolly. This ingenious engineering concept provides virtually unlimited camera and operator positioning as the dolly rolls on track with either Hot Buttons or the Matthews Centipede. Of course, using the dolly directly on the ground with the standard pneumatic rubber tires is another option. Load capacity is over 1100 lb (500 kg) and the platform is carpeted for a non-slip low maintenance surface. This economical yet versatile mobile camera platform is an excellent choice for stage or location

All-wheel steering will navigate tight 90 degree corners.
Steering with the push/pull bar is possible from either end of this dolly
With a length of 51" (130 cm) and a width of 28.25" (72 cm), the Round-D-Round Doorway Dolly will operate through standard sized doorways

Round-D-Round Doorway Dolly is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Dolly For The Price This dolly is well worth the price. It's very stable and maneuverable. We use it about once a week for video production. We did however spend a good bit of time modifying the design of our dolly so that it would fit through a doorway easier. We removed 2 1/4 inches from the width of the dolly without shrinking the working platform at all. Also I don't know why they bother painting some of the components, like the push bar and steering handle. The paint rubs off from normal use. A chrome plated design, like they use on their stands, would be better. I think the steering handle needs to be about four inches longer to help with slight adjustments in steering. And the front bumper could use a hard foam or rubber casing. It's just painted steel. Those are just my observations. This dolly is really a great tool and we use it a lot more than our big hydraulic dolly. Matthews is a very professional company. We use a lot of their gear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Photos do dolly no justice The price is right on target for such a solidly built dolly. After opening the crate I could tell in one look that this dolly was entirely professional but then that's always what you can expect out of Mathews. At it's price range it's the best in the biz. The only thing I would change is the seat. In fact I'm going to add a spinning turret with a seat attachment. It will free up leg room for me, but I think for most people the seat will work out just fine. Bottom line... It's a great dolly!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Dolly in Its Class I bought this dolly about 18 months ago and have used it constantly since its addition to my production company. It works on every surface with consistent results. With a good operator, you can get world class shots with this piece of equipment. I own a Steadicam Flyer and IndieDolly and will use this every time over those products. I really don't know what else to say except that you will get every penny back that you invest into this dolly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great dolly! Very well built dolly. Solid components and very easy to use. The only downside is the weight...it is rather heavy, but manageable with two people to short distances. Worthwhile for any production company that needs grip for larger cameras. Considering that this dolly will last many years due to its build quality, the price is very attractive.
