Matrox RTX2SDNAC Overview

The RT.X2 PCIe SD Capture and Editing Card from Matrox installs in your computer's PCIe x1 slot to allow you to digitize both SD video footage. The card allows you to edit DV video in realtime. Supporting SD video in NTSC, PAL and 23.98p NTSC resolution, the card is an ideal solution for corporate video producers, event videographers, educators and independent filmmakers.

The RT.X2 allows you to work with multiple layers of SD video and delivers real time effects including color correction and broadcast-quality 3D effects. Analog video is compressed using a high-quality MPEG-2 4:2:2 codec and you can even mix NTSC and PAL video on the same timeline. These features and more make the card an excellent choice for editors who wish to work with SD video.
