Is this mic compatible with a Sony HDR SR11 camcorder? Looking for best (and cost effective) mic. Have read that some mics have audio issues. Any audio issues with this mic? Thanks!
The Sony ECM-44BC features a 4 pin connector designed for connection to specific Sony wireless mic transmitters only. This will not be compatible with a camcorder such as the HDR-SR11 which requires a mic with a 1/8 connector.

Will this microphone work with a gopro and an adapter?
The Sony ECM-44BMP features a locking connector specifically designed for use with Sony wireless transmitters. Currently no adapter available which allows for connection to a camera or recorder. Sony does however offer the ECM-44B which is a battery powered unit that can be adapted to use with Go Pro cameras when using the proper adapters.
