Leader LE1876 Overview

The LE1876 Digital Processing Jitter Meter from Leader is a device designed to measure the jitter conforming to Blu-Ray disc standards. It combines time interval analyzer TIA and digital processing methods for jitter measurement, enabling both accurate readings and high throughput. Use this unit to adjust and inspect optical pickups on productions lines.

Standard features include a limit equalizer applicable to x2 speed blu-ray disc standards, PLL clock regenerator, and jitter measurement sections. These features allow the x2 speed of HF signal output from a pickup to be directly applied to this instrument for measuring jitter.

A large LCD panel displays jitter and provides histogram analysis, making this unit equally well suited for production, inspection, and research & development. Jitter measurement units for a DVD/CD or HFM are optionally available. Also optionally available are GPIB and LAN interfaces for constructing an automatic measurement system for quality-control checks.
