This Power over Ethernet Adapter from D-Link is a compact device that can be used with PoE systems to deliver power and data to 5 VDC and 12 VDC devices. This unit receives power and data via Ethernet from compatible switches. It outputs power via DC and data via Ethernet. This allows you to more easily place devices, including web cameras and wireless access points to expand your network, in remote locations where there may not be a power outlet.
Deliver Power to Remote Devices
This devices receives power and data from Ethernet switches that can provide PoE. It can be used to power 5 VDC and 12 VDC devices that cannot natively receive PoE. Power over Ethernet supports cable runs of up to 328' (100 m) in length.
Plug and Play Installation
There is no special software to install, simply connect this receiver to a PoE switch via Ethernet. It can be used to provide power and data to 5 VDC and 12 VDC Ethernet devices.
