Apple MB061LL/A Overview

The 13" MacBook Notebook Computer from Apple gives you all the power of a Macintosh computer in an easily portable and attractive form. The laptop is housed in a white polycarbonate shell that brings the signature Apple design aesthetic to the notebook. It is designed to meet the needs of video editors, graphics designers, educators, and businesspeople who demand a compact and light portable computer.

The MacBook is powered by the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor. The Core 2 Duo is actually two processors built into a single chip, which translates into much better performance than a single processor chip. The computer is loaded with an 80 GB 5400 rpm SATA hard drive, 1 GB of RAM, Airport Extreme wireless networking, integrated Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, built-in speakers and Apple's Combo Drive, a 24x speed CD burner that also reads DVD-ROM discs. The computer features a beautiful glossy 13" widescreen display that delivers a bright and clear image.

All this hardware runs on Apple's OS X 10.5 Leopard operating system with Rosetta technology. This allows you to seamlessly run legacy applications as well as Universal Binaries that have been designed to run on both PowerPC and Intel chips, making the MacBook a great choice for your home, office, or college dorm.

Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
The system is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz processor powered by a 667 MHz front side bus. The Core 2 Duo features two processors on a single chip, which increases system efficiency and reduces power consumption compared to two-chip dual processor systems.
Rosetta Technology
The changeover to Intel-powered Macintosh computers is made seamless with OS X Leopard's built-in Rosetta technology. You can open applications written for older PowerPC Macintosh computers without any special steps -- just click and run.
13" Glossy LCD Display
The 13.3" Glossy LCD display delivers crisp, clear graphics. It is large enough to allow you to work efficiently while still keeping the laptop small enough to be easily portable. The display features a glossy finish, which delivers deeper color saturation and brighter images compared to comparable displays. The widescreen format gives you more viewing area than a standard aspect ratio display.
Front Row
Apple's Front Row software turns your MacBook into a sleekly designed media player.
