The Set820S from Sennheiser is a complete assistive listening system that lets you listen to your television, radio, or home theater system wirelessly. Simply connect the TR820 transmitter to an audio source, and it uses FM radio waves to transmit the signal up to 100' to the RR820S beltclip receiver.
The beltclip receiver has an extra-large volume dial for easy adjustments. The 3.5mm jack can accept your favorite headphones, an induction loop for wireless hearing aids, or wired hearing aids. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides approximately four hours of continuous use, and the unit is recharged by docking with the transmitter.
The transmitter connects to the standard headphone or RCA audio output of your sound system. If your sound system does not have an audio output, you can place the included microphone near a speaker. The transmitter offers switchable mono/stereo transmission, and a compression feature that ensures high vocal intelligibility. A spare battery dock allows you to charge an extra battery while you charge the receiver.
