Lapel mic version for the Williams Sound tour system

My company already had the Williams Sound tour system transmitter (T46) and receiver (R37). I was looking for other mic options. This was the only lapel mic option for this system. I use our Williams Sound system as a wireless microphone for our Sony Handycam. This lapel mic does a good job in quiet environments. But, I would not recommend it for noisey. I was looking for something that was not as annoying to wear as the Williams Sound Headband mic - which this is. However, we will stick with the headband mic for tours on the production floor and this lapel for when we are recording classroom trainings. The Williams Sound tour system requires a 1/8 mini connection so standard connections will not work.

can you hook this up to a 1/4 inch jack or input?

Not by itself. You need to either change the plug or buy an 1/8 to 1/4 adapter

Does this work with pocket talker?

Yes this works with the Pocket Talker. Just pull out the spud style mic of the pocket Talker and insert the new style of Mic. Also designed to work with shotgun style mic MIC027, and conference mic MIC049.
