The DSR8x1 SD/HD-SDI Switcher from Burst Electronics is a routing switcher that accepts (8) SD/HD-SDI source signals and selectively routes them to (1) output display. Use this convenient unit to switch between SD/HD-SDI video devices without the need to repeatedly connect and disconnect equipment.
The switcher can be controlled via its front-panel buttons or remotely using its optional RS232 serial port and simple ASCII commands. Moreover, LEDs on the front panel provide a visual indicator of line status. Other remote control devices are also separately available from Burst Electronics.
Maximum picture quality is maintained with high-capacity throughout and the reclocking of input signals. Input compensation for source coax attenuation is also offered to ensure picture quality and extend range and usability.
