Pelco TW3016P 16-Channel Passive UTP Transceiver

The Pelco TW3016P combines the UTP signal coming from up to 16 Pelco UTP equipped cameras, enclosures and domes and transmits them over a single unshielded twisted pair cable. Along with color and B/W video, this unit will also transmit Pelco's coaxitron (up the coax) PTZ control signal on the same UTP wire, eliminating the need to run separate control cables. Some of the key advantages UTP has over a BNC cable is a lower cost, less bulkiness and most importantly, the ability to transmit over longer distances without suffering signal attenuation. Furthermore, UTP also proves to be a major time and cost saver when installing cameras in buildings already wired for UTP. This unit supports a maximum UTP cable distance of 750 ft for both video and PTZ control signal transmissions.
