I have a lot of 2400 packs and a few specialty heads that run off of 4800 packs, as far as I know its the only way to make the conversion. Works like a charm.

Do I need this cable to connect 206VF to 4803cx power supply?

You will need the Speedotron Head Adapter Cable for 206VF & 106 Black Line to connect your Speedotron 206VF to the Speedotron 4803CX - 4800 Watt/Second Power Supply (120V). You will also need the Speedotron Head Extension Cable 25' for Black Line (BH# SPEC25102) to connect your light to the power supply.
