If you have to travel with your lights, you need these to protect you flash tubes and modeling lights. The attach like a softbox speedring, and are foam lined. They are very strong-much stronger than they look. The only negative-and it's a very, very small one, is that you have to let your lights cool before putting the covers on, to prevent melting the foam. By the time you have put you camera and lenses away, the lights are cool enough to put the cover on.
