To address the multitude of circumstances that require a RGBHV, composite, or component video signal to be effectively extended without the typical costs or signal loss issues which plague long cable runs, FSR presents the TWISTER Series MMTP-200 Receiver. High-resolution video suffers as any other signal sent long-distance over copper wiring that needs to remain consistent and pure. Using standard CAT-5 Ethernet network cables, a video signal with up to 1600 x 1280 (at 60 Hz) resolution can be extended up to 1000 feet (305 meters) with no appreciable signal degradation. The signal can be fine-tuned by utilizing three 16-position rotary switches to make RGB skew adjustments.
The system requires a minimum of three separate components; the MMTP-100 transmitter (not included), this MMTP-200 receiver and the MMTP power supply (not included). These elements combine to form the base configuration, but may be augmented with a number of expansion modules or breakout cable adapters for this open-ended system. The overall system can output a maximum of 512 points with additional components.
