Plug it in to the autocue system and it just works. Not very rugged, I've had to repair the trigger a few times but it's not hard to do. We don't use any other features except the trackball and trigger so I can't speak to the quality of laser pointer or other features. Used to be found under the novia name elsewhere for as little as twenty bucks, but most websites that used to sell it are out of stock and/or backordered. Bottom line: the autocue sticker quadruples the price, but if you can find it for cheaper it is worth a try.
It's taken a few attempts before grasping all its applications, and I made mistake of using the 'stop/start' button which makes a noise when recording, but it's clearly better than a normal mouse, and if you're doing your own teleprompting this must make things easier.
