Up Down Lock Good, Side to Side Lock No Bueno

Window clip is great and the head is good all but the screw that tightens the head to the mount. You either have to tighten it all the way to the head does not move or leave it loose in which case there is no way to tighten the head from spinning. So overall its great if you want only to move the head up and down. But if you want to rotate side to side and lock in on an object, forget it. I ordered a better head for the mount.

As with all Manfrotto products, this mount is very well made. However, the tension knob only allows for tilting, not panning like a ball head would. Kind of useless to have a window mount that doesn't allow for precise panning as well.
