This collar fit my generic octobox ring perfectly. I had originally ordered the SP Studio Systems collar (#SPARCSBS) but had to return it because the outer diameter was too small to fit securely into my octo ring.

question

will this work for on a beauty dish? I have Speedotron Black line heads but I have a bowens beauty dish that I wish to use with Black line heads. Thx!
Asked by: MARIO d.
No, that will not work. And there is no adapter that permits a Bowen Accessory to fit on a Speedotron Black line head.

will this fit in a Photoflex Octadome which requires a flange diameter of between 5.6 and 5.9 diameter?
Asked by: Anonymous
Whether this collar will fit depends on the speed ring being used to attach to the Photoflex Octodome.

Will this work for Paul C Buff modifiers? If so ...

Will this work for Paul C Buff modifiers? If so will it involve permanent modifications (ie drilling, etc)?
Asked by: Rob
This ring is designed for people who make their own softboxes. It is not meant to work in rings. It is meant to be screwed or bolted into the softbox.
