Speedotron MW3U Overview

  • 1Description
  • 2Compact Design
  • 3Modular Design
  • 4Easily Replaceable Flashtube
  • 5Modeling Light
  • 6Long-Reaching Cable

Designed to be used primarily as a hair light or background light; its small size makes it ideal for hiding on the set. Adapted for use with an umbrella. It can handle up to 400 w/s, and makes an excellent, affordable fill light. Since this head utilizes a bright 150W quartz halogen light, snoots and diffusers should not be used with this unit. A power supply for this flash head is required.

Compact Design

Specifically designed without a fan with a small profile for easy positioning as a hair or background light

Modular Design

Will accept umbrellas and barn doors

Easily Replaceable Flashtube

This "Plug-and-Play" UV Coated Flashtube is inexpensive and easy to replace.

Modeling Light

Bright, 150W for easy viewing.

Long-Reaching Cable

20' cable included. Head extension cables are available for heads in use at longer distances from the power pack.
