What type of USB cable comes with the Podcaster. I want to use with my USB-C M.acBook?
Asked by: Richard
A USB-B to USB-A cable is included with the Rode Podcaster microphone. To connect to a MacBook or other USB-C device, a cable like (BH #STUSB2CB1M) or an adapter such as (BH #SEUSBACA) could be used.

Will this help the audio when I record a YouTube interview I was in? Currently, the audio sounds terribly tinny.
Asked by: Carol
Hello Carol, there are a lot of factors to consider while recording interviews to and from the internet. However, I would say that in general this microphone is an incredible upgrade when used as the source audio for Skype, Youtube, or any streaming services.

Hi. I need to connect a rode podcaster to my ipad, how? Just the USB plug isn't enough, it says, when plugged in. Takes up too much power, so what to do?

The Podcaster USB mic is designed to be used with desktop computers. According to Rode, It may be used with an iPad using the Apple Camera connection kit and powered USB hub to provide power.

question

How do you record 2 people at the same time? I tried it using my podcaster but the sound quality was poor because we could not both get close enough. So if I need 2 microphones, how would I integrate them?
Asked by: Bonnie B.
I suggest you record the 2 tracks seperately (Use a slapstick for sync) then use Audacity to edit and merge the two into one track. We use Techsmith Camtasia for our video and audio editing. Works great. A great resource is Daniel Park at (dappertext LLC, 2643 Mulligan Dr., Jackson, MI 49203, United States ). Good luck with your project !
