question

The picture for the 9930OP Chimera Triolet Flood Light with Octaplus Speed Ring shows an Octaplus speed ring without quick release (9890OP), but the included equipment lists an Octaplus Speed Ring with quick release (9890QR). Which is it?
Asked by: Jeffrey Lawlis
This kit would include a Chimera Octaplus Dedicated Speed Ring for Triolet which has fixed corners rather than quick release corners. Chimera only manufacturers their Quick Release Speed Rings in the 4 corner type.

can you put any 500w or 750w bulb (flourescent or led) that fits the threaded socket of the light?
Asked by: michael
The Chimera Triolet Flood Light with Octaplus Speed Ring (220-230 VAC) (B&H# CHT2POPE) can accept tungsten, LED, and fluorescent bulbs up to 1000W that have a standard E26/E27, E39/E40, or GY9.5 base. For reference, the most typical (not mini and not specialized) screw bulb base used in the UK and EU, in the USA, in the Western Hemisphere in general, and indeed in most countries worldwide conforms to the E26/E27 screw-in standard that this fixture can also use.

question

Is the power adjustable?
Asked by: Adam M.
The Chimera Triolet Flood Light does not have a control to adjust output power. As such, you would have to purchase a dimmer such as the Impact D1000 1,000W AC Dimmer Control (110-120V), B&H # IMD1000, for your planned usage needs.
