Speedotron SN7 Overview

This Speedotron Universal Snoot for 7" Reflectors is specifically designed for use on the reflector of a flash head, or tungsten light.

Snoots, barndoors, grids, and filters are essential accessories for any lighting system. These devices alter the shape, intensity, or color of the light output from your flash heads. Consider them as a painter would a brush, or a sculptor would a knife or chisel.

Attached to the front of your light source, a snoot will create a small circle of light. The size of the circle will be determined by the size of the opening of the snoot, its length, and the distance to the subject.

Aside from a delivery issue, the slightly bent base plate and the sharp metal edges from the snoot, I suspect the snoot will work as expected.

A must have

Your imagination and a snoot can go along way. A snoot seems like a one-hit wonder, but there are many uses for light control. We use it for products, portraits, weddings, etc. This is a well build products that will last years if you don't shoot fireworks out of it.

question

The other item in the picture is used to attach it to a strobe I believe? Would that fit on a PCB WL?
Asked by: Gary
there is only one item shown, what you think is another item is a top down view to show how wide to snoot opening is. The clips you see attach it to a 7 reflector. I don't know what a PCB WL is so I can't answer that.
