The Bogen/Manfrotto 055XPROB Pro Tripod with 3275 Compact Geared Head builds on the success of the 3011/3021 series. It features the Manfrotto-patented horizontal center column feature, which allows the center column to flip quickly and easily from vertical to horizontal. By extending the column to its highest vertical position, it can be swung over to horizontal without removing the head or disassembling the column itself. The ergonomics of the leg-angle release mechanism and the quick action leg locks have also been improved.
Specially designed for 35mm SLR and medium format cameras, the 3275 (410) Compact Geared Head uses easily adjustable knobs and offers precise geared movement in three directions: 360° of pan, +90 to -30° of front tilt & +90 to -30° of lateral tilt. This professional head has a large camera platform and a leveling bubble, and the camera screw travels in a 2" slot to facilitate perfect balancing of the camera's center of gravity.
