The S1A monitors each have a 5" HexaCone woofer and an A.R.T. folded ribbon tweeter for a wide frequency response with excellent reproduction and imaging. Two internal power amplifiers provide 200W RMS of total power for a strong performance. The rear of the cabinet offers a balanced XLR input for wide compatibility with other professional audio components. Controls are available for input/HF gain and high and low EQ. The cabinet is ported for an extended bass response and magnetically shielded for use near video monitors.
The Sub10 subwoofer has a 10" front-firing cone and is powered by a 300W RMS amplifier. It offers both XLR and RCA I/O connectors for integration with a wide variety of professional audio equipment. Crossovers are made as musical as possible thanks to variable fourth-order Linkwitz-Riley filters. The incoming signal can be phased from zero to 180 degrees for a great degree of flexibility in placement of the subwoofer. Rear-panel gain and filter adjustment controls are provided. The down-firing bass reflex tube avoids "breathing" noise, and multiple units may be chained together if desired.
