Axis Communications AXIS 5570e Overview

The Axis Communications AXIS 5570e is a host-to-LAN print server, allowing facilities containing IBM Mainframes (zSeries) or IBM AS/400 (iSeries) to send printing jobs to any printer, digital copier, including those with USB ports. With its parallel and USB ports and built-in IBM protocol converter, it can also print to two printers simultaneously.

Although specializing in IBM technology, this server is by no means limited to IBM host systems, but can also process printing jobs with protocols originating from such diverse operating systems as Windows, Netware, Macintosh, Unix and Linux.

Its ability to communicate directly with the IBM host system eliminates the need for intermediary software and hardware conversion devices, thus freeing up critical resources for the task at hand. It also greatly simplifies the printer installation process, making it a significant time and cost saver.

Sends IBM host printing communicates to any laser printer, matrix printer and label printer
Simultaneously processes printing jobs to USB and parallel printers
