Kodak Z1275 Overview

The Kodak EasyShare Z1275 Zoom Digital Camera incorporates a 5x all-glass zoom lens in a suprisingly compact camera body. The Camera records images with resolution up to 12.1 megapixels, and features a 2.5" display. It also has Kodak Perfect Touch Technology for automated image enhancement, on-camera cropping, a histogram dispaly and a vast array of user-friendly features. Furthermore, Kodak's proprietary color science chip yields pictures with natural and accurate flesh tones, and impressively vibrant color overall.

The EasyShare Z1275 Zoom makes it simple to get sharp pictures - even in low light, thanks to an incredible high senitivity capability with ISO settings available up to an astounding ISO 3200 with certain image limitations. The camera also incorporates digital image stabilization to ensure sharp images when shooting in low light or fast moving subjects. Twenty programmed scene modes (e.g., party, fireworks, children) and five color modes are available to help capture the best shot with the least effort, and the EasyShare Z1275 camera also records TV-quality VGA video at up to 30 frames per second using advanced MPEG-4 compression.

On-camera picture-enhancing features include cropping, auto picture rotation, digital red-eye reduction, and blurry picture alert. The EasyShare Z1275 also integrates Kodak's Share button with its 'favorites' feature for storing multiple pictures in an on-camera digital photo album. Each picture can then be shared anytime on the camera's high-resolution LCD display, or print and share your pictures by using the Kodak EasyShare system.

12.1 Megapixel Resolution
Produce dramatic prints up to 30 x 40" (76 x 102cm) with an astounding 12.1 megapixel resolution, and the Kodak Color Science inside means you'll consistently get images with rich, vibrant color. However you choose to print, Kodak provides quality that's truly exceptional.
5x Optical Zoom Lens
The high quality all-glass Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon lens provides a 5x optical zoom that is equivalent to 35 - 175mm in 35mm terms, providing you with the ability to zoom in tightly to the scene. The lens is fast with a maximum aperture range of f/2.8-5.1. Even with this very capable lens, the camera is still only a bit more than an inch thick, thanks to the latest advances in optics technology.
Kodak Perfect Touch Technology
Make your pictures as vivid as the moment you took them, right on camera with Kodak Perfect Touch Technology. You'll print better, brighter pictures without dark shadows so you can relive your memories in richer detail.
High ISO Sensitivity
The camera can automatically select from ISO 80 to ISO 1600 based on lighting conditions to capture images with all the details even in low light. The camera is also capable of achieving an incredible ISO 3200 when shooting at 3.1 MP, 2.2 MP, 2.1 MP, and 1.2 MP setting in P/M mode.
Digital Image Stabilization
Reduce blur caused by camera or subject movement using the anti-blur mode - it maximizes the shutter speed and aperture along with the ISO sensitivity to provide the sharpest images possible.
Convenient Scene and Color Modes
Get great shots time after time with 20 programmed scene modes, including auto, sport, portrait, snow, fireworks, backlight, and party; or have fun with five different color modes (High, Natural, Low, Black & White, Sepia).
Smart Scene Mode
The Smart Scene mode makes it easy to capture stunning shots, by having the camera automatically select from 9 available scene modes. And if an appropriate scene mode cannot be detected, the camera will default to Auto Mode. With the Smart Scene mode, you can shoot without even thinking about the camera settings.
Shoot High Quality Video in HD Format
Shoot continuous VGA video (640 x 480 at 30 fps), or record HD video (1280 x 720 at 30 fps) featuring audio capture and playback, and capture more video while using less memory with MPEG-4 compression. There is also a video print option to produce 4, 9, or 16 up prints captured from your video clips. The camera also features audio only capture, and on-camera video editing.
Internal Memory Plus
The camera has 64MB internal memory for picture storage so you can start shooting right out of the box, plus there is a SD/SDHC/MMC expansion slot for additional capacity. Furthermore, if you are using a memory card, and it becomes full, switch to in-camera memory quickly, thanks to the internal memory plus feature.
2.5" LCD Display
Get a good look at your pictures on the generous 2.5" indoor/outdoor color display. The review mode let you magnify your images up to 8x, fast scroll through pictures, or view multi-up or slide shows. Plus, you'll always view your pictures right-side-up regardless of whether you shoot your pictures vertically or horizontally with auto picture rotation.
On-camera Picture Enhancing Features
Create your perfect shot with on-camera picture enhancing features including digital red-eye reduction, cropping, blurry picture alert, and undo-delete
