I've bought over 24 of the ikan NP-F750 batts. to power ikan LED lights. 6 failed. I've been very disappointed with these batts. Some arrived DOA, some did not hold their charge lifespan while in use, and some worked as advertised! Ikan batts are unreliable. I'll be looking into the Watson equivalent to replace my faulty ikan batts.

Terminals pull out and fail

Battery has decent power density and except for one fatal flaw, are built well enough. The terminals, when pushed onto prongs of a device, can pull out of the battery and rip the small wire connected to it. It cannot be repaired.

Can this battery be charged with generic chargers ...

Can this battery be charged with generic chargers or does it need an Ikan or Sony charger?

Yes, The ikan NP-F750 L-Series Compatible Battery would be able to charge on battery chargers that are configured to charge Sony NPFL batteries. This would also include Sony brand chargers.

Will this work as a replacement for the battery that comes with the smallHD focus (NP-F760)? The 760 is 7.4V but 0460 mAh.

I assume you mean light-weight. It's similar to the weight of a DSLR battery found in the larger cameras. You'll feel its weight in your hand, but otherwise, not so much.
