Has the manufacturer specified an expected archival life or material on the coating?
The manufacturer uses it's proprietary HardCoat coating for its BD-Rs. They advertise a long life, but do not make any quantitative claims to longevity the way M-DISC does. Additionally, there is not necessarily any definitive difference in longevity between HardCoat and similar coatings and M-DISC save for price.
