The beige E6 Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Medium Gain, with Detachable 1mm Cable and 3.5mm Connector for Toa Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one-tenth ounce. It is a water- and wind-resistant microphone that can be used on either ear for capturing audio in houses of worship, theater, or outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, omnidirectional E6 Earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers forget they're wearing a mic. Three sensitivity options cover general speaking to extremely powerful vocals and four color options allow you to match the E6 to your skin tone for minimum visibility.

In addition, the E6 Earset features three omni caps (very bright +8 dB, bright +4 dB, and flat +0 dB) that deliver response characteristics for most other applications such as recording flute and violin. This omnidirectional E6 Earset's cable terminates to a 3.5mm connector for direct connection to a Toa WM-370, WM-4310,WM-5320, or WM-5325 wireless bodypack transmitter.

The E6 Earset's stainless steel boom is built tough and can be bent and re-bent many times to fit different performers. The E6 is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps.
Versatile
The flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face and is available in multiple skin tones. Their protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Choose a sensitivity for speaking or singing with up to 140 dB SPL capability.

The E6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion and an SPL of up to 140 dB. It delivers rich, full-band audio quality.
Provides Isolation
Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a position for rejecting unwanted sounds. Countryman's omnidirectional Earset offers a reduction of 12 dB compared to a lavalier mic, while the directional E6 Earset provides even more isolation. Excellent for houses of worship, theater, and outdoor events.
Replaceable Cables
An E6 replacement cable installs in seconds. The snap-on cables are rugged and available for almost any wireless transmitter or for XLR inputs with phantom power.

The industry standard in earset microphones

I use these in a corporate speech and presentation environment. I have tried other knock-offs some of these knock offs have good sound quality, but sacrifice build quality, some are built ok, but sound like you are talking into a bowl with literally nothing from the lower mids down. Some look bad and sound bad. The Countryman E6 is the best performing and longest lasting ear-set microphone I have ever tried. They are really expensive, but in my opinion if you have the budget, they are worth it.

Our church has used the E6 with 2mm cable for several years now for three transmitters.  The 1mm standard cable was always the weakest link and first to fail, usually right after the warranty expired.  We also tried a less expensive earset that failed even sooner, several times within the one-year warranty period.  With E6 and 2mm cable, weve finally found a solution that provides a reasonable life for the cost.  Normally we only have to replace the cable after around 2 years of use.  This time we had to replace the entire earset when the pastor broke the wire in two pieces.  Thats not to throw shade on the E6--its been the best to stand up to the heavy use. Id add one more star if the price were just a little more reasonable but have been very happy with this product.  Pricing, shipping and service from B&H has always been top notch, so 5 stars for B&H.
