The Countryman E6 Cardioid Microphone is a miniature ear-set microphone for virtually invisible operation in stage performances, trade shows, houses-of-worship, auctions, lectures and much more.

The cardioid version effectively minimizes off-axis feedback and noise from nearby monitor speakers, instruments and noisy sources. Flexible microphone positioning is maintained and the included windscreen minimizes the wind noise often associated with cardioid microphones.

The E6 is set apart from the E6i with its stiffer flexible boom. The flexible boom maintains its shape for custom, single-user size adjustments.

A wide variety of colors and connections are available for use with various wireless transmitters. This version is light beige and the cable terminates to a 3-pin XLR connector for direct connection to microphone preamplifiers, mixers, etc.

Miniature Unobtrusive Design
A miniature cardioid capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame. This lightweight, unobtrusive design is available in various colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin.
Removable Cable
The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual headset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy, as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate various wireless transmitters. The Duramax 2mm diameter cable provides extra strength, flexibility and durability.
Cardioid Polar Pattern
The cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing off-axis residual noise from nearby monitor speakers, instruments and loud sources. The flexible boom provides a stiff fit that maintains its shape for single user applications.
Sensitivity Optimized for Speaking and Strong Vocals
This version is optimized to accurately capture strong audio signals without peak distortion and noise, also providing optimum results when placed in hair for theater applications.

E6 Unidirectional EarSet Microphone (Light Beige) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent microphone I've been using headset mics at work for over 20 years. The E6 is the lightest, most comfortable and most importantly the most responsive over the entire dynamic range of human vocals I have ever experienced. I can run it with almost flat eq and it sounds totally natural. I have never used a headset mic before that did not need extreme reinforcement in the bass range even taking into consideration the proximity effect. I now use the E6 even for recording in my studio because the sound reproduction is so good across the entire spectrum compared to the recording mic I was using before. I highly recommend the E6 to any performing vocalist. There is no need in the 21st century for bulky headset mics or totally outdated hand held units. Customers (the audience) cannot even see the E6 when in use. The E6 is well worth the investment. It underscores the old adage; you get what you pay for!
