This does the job as a replacement cable, but these things are far from indestructible. We've gone through a few over the last 3 years. They tend to start going out down near the connector to the wireless pack, and really the only way to fix it is to buy another one. I'll keep on buying the replacement cable though since the headset works just fine, and it's way cheaper than buying a whole new system.
