This Ikelite compact mechanical underwater housing is designed for the Vixia Canon HV20, HV30 and HV40 camcorders. The housing is molded in clear polycarbonate, and includes an optical glass port with removable UR pro filter. The housing is easy to use and will allow you to capture the moment underwater in high definition video or digital stills.
The housing features the Ikelite Super-Eye viewfinder. This provides magnification of the camera's viewfinder enhancing viewing while wearing a diving mask. You can also use the external mirror on the side of the housing, allowing the camera's LCD monitor to be viewed from the side of the housing.
Another important feature is that the port accepts the Ikelite wide-angle conversion lens W-20. The quality of your underwater video will increase dramatically if you are close to your subject. The W-20 allows you to capture large subjects while being very close. The housing is rated to a depth of up to 200'.
