The Manfrotto 142CSSH Two Section Extension Pole extends your heavy duty stand by 29.5 - 43.3" (75 - 110 cm). It will accept and lock onto a stand top that has a Junior (1-1/8") Receptor. It is steel with a chrome finish, and it tops off with a Baby (5/8") removable reversible stud with a 3/8" and a 1/4"-20 thread. It also has a Junior (1-1/8") receptor.
The 3369 extends the height of your light stand or may be used as a hand-held light or microphone boom (with the proper, optional adapter).
