Klear Screen KS-8 Reviews

Leaves a haze.

Also leaves a slight haze on laptop screen and larger Asus monitor. One is glossy and one is matte finish, regarding the screens. I haven't found anything better than OptiMist, except super-expensive actual stuff I use on my camera lenses. My boyfriend likes to clean his monitor every day, so it was getting quite expensive, and I looked for something else. Seems there's nothing else.

Works great!

Safe Cleaning without Alcohol and No Res

Putting a liquid on an expensive screen or coated surface is a risk, at best. I am successfully using KS in place of many professional lens and screen solvents that are no longer available. Hs seems to clean well, dry sufficiently fast and not leave an apparent residue.

The bottle I received doesn't quite match the photo that is displayed here (black label) but it's written KS-8 on it so I guess it's the same product. I have a NEC PA241W and tried to clean it with a product from Staples. It smeared to no end although I had used it successfully for years on a Samsung XL-20. The finish on the NEC is special apparently. NEC themselves told me to never clean it with anything but a dry microfiber (no liquid whatsoever) which is ridiculous for 2 reasons: Dry cleaning does not work on stains, water droplets or fingerprints. Dry cleaning is the best way to scratch a coated surface and anyone who owns a car and cleans it often knows this. On the advice of someone I tried Klear Screen and it worked. Just make sure you spray the liquid on the microfiber (not on the scren) and that you turn the microfiber and wipe the product quickly before it dries by itself. Make sure the microfiber you use is clean and of good quality.
